LEADING FOR GOOD
The L4G internship was LeadLocal's first experiential learning initiative. In Fall 2012, LeadLocal ran its first cohort of 18 interns + 4 young professional mentors working on 4 consulting projects for local non-profit organizations. LeadLocal offered L4G internships on a semester basis until 2017. L4G project clients included Old Pueblo Community Services, Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, Pima County One Stop, Earn to Learn, Tu Nidito and many other community-based organizations.

Since then LeadLocal has continued to engage intern teams on project-based internships whenever possible. To date, LeadLocal has directly provided internship experiences for over 175 high school + college age individuals. Most of these internships also included an embedded mentorship experience with young or young-at-heart professionals. Our internship projects provide human-centered design, systems thinking + co-leadership skill development.
